Petroleum Minister Gas Supply Advisor Mahmoud Astaneh told Shana that based on statistics, 18,000 major and minor industrial units consume 2.7 billion liters of varying kinds of oil products a year, so plans are made to substitute the fuel with gas.
He said replacing the fuel with gas is among goals of the Ministry of Petroleum, so a master plan has been designed in partnership with the Economy Council and the Plan and Budget Organization.
