A senior official with the RIPI, Mohammad Reza Kamali said EOR will be the focus of the institute's cooperation with the Australian university.
Kamali, who is the head of the RIPI's upstream faculty, made the remarks on the sidelines of a visit by a number of researchers and experts from Curtin University to RIPI on Monday.
He said the academic delegation from Australia visited RIPI to engage in talks for studies over a number of oil and gas fields handed over to the RIPI for consideration.
RIPI has previously signed an MoU with the university for holding joint studies on the fields, Kamali added.
