Zanganeh: Iran Bent on Oil Market Stability

TEHRAN, Sept 27 (Shana) – Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zanganeh says Iran has always been efforts for the sake of oil market stability and will continue to do so in favor of all the oil producing states.

Zanganeh made the remark after a meeting with Algerian Prime Minister  Abdelmalek Sellal.

He said market stability was one of the issues in talks with the Algerian premier.

He said Iran and Algeria have long-term ties in the OPEC and share common stances.

Noting that in talks with the Algerian party there were talks on Iran conditions after sanctions and said the two also talks on bilateral relations. “There are still problems for expansion of Iran-Algeria relations.”

He said Iran ambassador to Algeria and Algerian Central Bank Governor were to have meeting on Tuesday to discuss ways of solving Tehran-Algiers problem.

The 15th International Energy Forum convened in Algeria on Tuesday and the OPEC ministers are to hold a consultative session on the sidelines to discuss ways of production stabilization and price increase.
