Ramezanzadeh told a press conference on Wednesday that the interdisciplinary course is so new, dating as back as 16 years.
He said the field concerns exploration, production and exploitation of oil fields, especially enhanced recovery.
Scientific Secretary of the meeting, Majid Nikkhah said 126 articles had so far been sent to the conference.
