Iran to Present Petchem Products to Germany, UK, Europe

TEHRAN, Oct 21 (Shana) – Iranian Petrochemical Commercial Company (IPCC) Executive Director Mehdi Sharifi Niknafs says Iranian petrochemical facilities are ready to present their products to Germany, Britain and Europe.

In an address to the K-Plastics & Rubber Exhibition on Thursday, Niknafs outlined capability of the IPCC and subsidiary companies to offer services in transportation, investment, packaging, and export of Iranian petrochemical products to international markets.

The trade fair K 2016 is open in Düsseldorf, Germany, from the 19 to 26 October and presents the innovations of the international plastics and rubber industry.

Niknafs outlined the IPCC'ss more than 25 year experience in internationally marketing petrochemical products of Iran and said it is one of the biggest petrochemical companies in Iran that is active in sale of products in Iranian and international markets.

“The IPCC had in 2010 ceded 52 percent of its shares to Iran Investment Company per the privatization directive and officially started commercial and financial activities.”

He referred to the standing of the IPCC in Europe in 2015 and said due to sanctions, it had not remarkable presence in 2015 and its petrochemical exports stood at about 16,000 tons, worth $5.5 million, to Europe. The most important products were caustic soda, PET, SBR and isocyanate.

He said the products were mainly marketed in Europe, including Italy, Spain, Greece and Romania. 

The IPCC has 20 warehouses in China, two in Vietnam, two in the UAE and one in India so as to supply the required goods to the customers soon.
