TEHRAN, Dec. 04 (Shana) – President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday praised Iran's "considerable" success in oil diplomacy.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran has over the past days, gained considerable success in oil diplomacy. Thanks to insistences and measures taken, we managed to make output impact less influential, while honoring OPEC integration. This resulted in tangible increase in prices of oil worldwide. We succeeded not only in exempting Iran from the cut, but also gain the permission for increase in the production level despite serious problems we had with certain major OPEC producers," announced the President in an address to parliament after submitting the budget bill for the next Iranian fiscal year of 1396 (2017-18).

He said, "Practically, we will face no limit for increase in the production and exports of the country's oil in the coming months; just compare the post- and pre-sanction conditions: Due to tough international restrictions, export and production of the country's oil was growingly less possible and so, others were replaced in the oil market."

While thanking all OPEC states as well as the non-OPEC producers for contributing to improvement of the oil market, President Rouhani underlined Iran's adherence to its commitments.

He said the success gained can serve as an effective step towards safeguarding interests of the country in oil and improvement of the country's economic conditions. "Collection of the conditions have resulted in the power of speaking of increase in the petrodollars next year compared to that last year despite the fact that oil price today is less than 40 percent its value in the second half of the years in the 2010s. This is of course in addition to the successful efforts for improvement of the non-oil exports."
