Iran Petchem Facilities to be Equipped with Online Monitoring System

TEHRAN, July 25 (Shana) --An official with the Department of Environment (DOE) says all the petrochemical facilities operating in Iran will be equipped with an online monitoring system for their emissions.

Shina Ansari said the system will monitor emission of nitrogen dioxide, carbon dioxide and sulfur from the facilities 24/7, adding 24% of the country's major industries including 433 oil, gas, refining and petrochemicals facilities will be equipped with the system.
