Iran 4-Month Petchem Exports hit 7 mt

TEHRAN, Aug. 20 (Shana) – Iran exported nearly 7 million metric tons of petrochemical products worth $3.5 billion in the first 4 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.

This is while exports in the same period last year stood at 6.84mt, fetching the country $3.02b.

Noori Petrochemical Plant was among the country's most prolific facilities during the period by exporting over 405 million dollars of products during the 4 months.

Moreover, Pars Petrochemical Company exported $310m of products and Zagros Petrochemical Plant sent over $299m of products on international markets, being ranked second and third largest exporters in Pars Special Economic Energy Zone during the period.

Moreover, Bandar Emam, located at Mahshahr Petrochemical Zone, was the biggest exported of the PETZONE by exporting 316 million dollars of products during the same era.
