Tehran to host Workshop on Azadegan Development Tender

TEHRAN, Aug. 22 (Shana) – Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh says a workshop will be held in Tehran on Azadegan Development Project's tender with foreign participants.

According to IRIB, the official said the tender will take 7 or 8 months which is natural for such a major project.

"The field is a big one and developers must submit their proposed plant for its development and have their proposals reviewed both technically and financially before one can be awarded the project," he said.

The official said enhancing production rate of Iran's join fields are top on Iranian Ministry of Petroleum's agenda under President Rouhani's second term, adding materializing this goal would require tapping foreign resources and state-of-the-art technologies.

"We need to cooperate with top-level companies in the world in order to access foreign finances and the latest technologies," he said.
