Pakistani Business Delegation Visits IranPast

TEHRAN, Sep. 25 (Shana) -- A delegation of Pakistani industrialists and businesses visited the 11th edition of IranPlast Exhibition in Tehran.

The Pakistani visitors held talks with executives of petrochemical companies running stands at the showcase.

A member of the delegation, Sheikh Soltan Rahman, said Iran and Pakistan enjoy great polymer and petrochemical ties, adding the fair cannot be compared with its previous editions in terms of quality and quantity of the presented items.

He said purchasing petrochemical and polymer items and various polyethylene grades are the delegation's major targets in their visit to the showcase.

At least 14 foreign delegations are slated to visit the fair which opened on Sunday and will run through September 27 in Tehran.

The 11th edition of the event is mounted with as many as 1,124 companies from 24 countries in the Iranian capital, Iran.

The fair is organized in the four sections of raw materials, end-used items, semi constructed items, machinery and services.

The exhibitors come from countries like Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Greece, India, Serbia, Italy, South Korea, Austria, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain, United Kingdom, Thailand, Czech, Cyprus, Turkey, Taiwan, China, Japan and the United Arab Emirates.
