Speaking to Shana on the sidelines of the 7th ANGVA Biennial International conference and Exhibition (ANGVA 2017) in Tehran, Dato Rustam bin Yahaya said the two countries can exchange their experiences in energy fields and what is needed is enhancing their ties
He also said that Iran and Malaysia can cooperate in various economic grounds.
There are many potentialities for cooperation between the two countries, he added.
"We are in talks for a free trade agreement and banking cooperation," the envoy said.
The three-day event began on October 31.
