Condensate Output of SPGC Refinery 9 at 14 mb in 7 Months

TEHRAN, Nov. 05 (Shana) – The ultralight crude, or gas condensate output of South Pars Gas Complex's 9th refinery stood at 14.461 million barrels in the first 7 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.

 

The refinery is the biggest refinery of the complex and the Middle East and supplier of 11% of Iran's gas needs, caretaker of the facility Mohammad Mahdi Hashemi said.

He said the refinery has processed 14.7 billion cubic meters of gas it received from offshore phases of the supergiant South Pars Gas Field during the period.

The plant sent 13.255 bcm of sweetened gas to the national gas distribution network for consumption, he added. 

The refinery also supplied 46,069 tons of quality graded sulfur. 

It produces 83 mcm/d of sweet gas.
