"This can become a turning point in economic relations between the two countries," said the official in a meeting with his Tajik counterpart on the sidelines of the 10th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly in Turkey.
He also underlined the vast potentialities of Iranian companies in entering Tajikistan's market.
The 10th meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly began in Istanbul on November 21 and will run through November 24, 2017.
The meeting is held under the motto "Sustaining peace and development in Asia". The problems in the Asian region and ways to address them will be discussed at the session.
The 9th meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly was held in Cambodia in November 2016.
