Iran Gasoline Output at 74ml/d

TEHRAN, Dec. 03 (Shana) -- The average petrol output of Iranian refineries reached the average of 74.4 million liters per day in the first 8 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21, up 8% year-on-year.

According to the National Iranian Oil Refining & Distribution Company (NIORDC) public relations department, Iran produced 74 million and 615 thousand liters of petrol on a daily basis on average during the 8 months.

Accordingly 25.8 million liters of the output was Euro-4 gasoline which was higher by 16% from the same period last year.

Moreover, an average of 48.7 ml/d of ordinary gasoline was produced during the period, NIORDC announced.

Imam Khomeini Shazande Refinery followed by Abadan and Isfahan refineries were the country's biggest supplier of the item.

Persian Gulf Star Refinery also supplied 3.5 million liters/day of the item during the period.
