The report will be unveiled at the body's headquarters in Doha in the presence of GECF Secretary General Gholamhossein Adeli.
The report reviews the macroeconomic situation in the world, the demand for all types of energy, especially natural gas, the state of its production and supply, gas trade and contracts in different regions of the world and gas in different regional markets.
GECF released its gas market report last year. The report also offers a global model for gas market based on assessments of all the gas markets and energies in the world.
The model forecasts the gas market realities of 133 countries, fields and reserves.
The Gas Exporting Countries Forum is an intergovernmental organization of 11 of the world's leading natural gas producers made up of Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela.
