According to the company's public relations office, during the 18th Energy Globe Foundation (EGF) and the 12th Green Management Award ceremony, which was attended by representatives from 110 countries, Tehran Oil Refining Company was awarded the first-level certification of Green Management, National Iranian Oil Refining & Distribution Company (NIORDC) reported.

The company won the title of the top Iranian organization in the field of green management from European Association for Green Management (EAGM).

This certificate was awarded to the company for its approach towards sustainable development and implementation of environmental projects, and to fulfil social responsibilities, improve the quality of its produced items in accordance with global standards, and to manage and reduce pollutants in the environment.
