According to IRNA, Managing Director of GOGPC Houshang Seidali said prior to the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 all the staff operating for the company came from overseas while all the company's staff are Iranians.

He further said that most of the company's need for equipment are supplied by domestic producers for the time being.

That over 2,000 items and parts were manufactured by domestic suppliers is an indication of the fact that the sanctions did fail to hamper Iran's progress, the official said.

He said: "There are currently 7,400 human resources in the company's various sections".
