Petchem Exports fetch $9.6b for Iran in 10 Months

TEHRAN, Feb. 14 (Shana) – Iranian petrochemical exporters generated 9.6 billion dollars in revenues by exporting petrochemicals since late March 2017.

The plants sold a total of 18.58 million tons of products on international markets during the period, NIPNA reported.

The facilities operating in Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ), southern Iran, supplied 9.4 million tons of the exports valued at $4.8b during the 10 months.

Furthermore, the plants operating in Mahshahr Petrochemical Zone, southwestern Iran, exported over 5 million tons of items with a total value of $2.7b.

The plants operating in other parts of the country exported 4.4 million tons of products generating $2.1b during the same period.
