Pardis Petchem Plant Signs deal with UK Firm

TEHRAN, Jan. 29 (Shana) – Iran's Pardis Petrochemical Company has signed a cooperation agreement with UK's KBR, a provider or technical licenses for ammonia units.

The deal is signed in the field of technical engineering services with the aim of promoting production technology at the Iranian facility, Pardis Petrochemical Plant's public relations said.

The agreement was signed on Saturday by Hossein Shahryari, the plant's managing director, and Jan Egil Braendeland, CEO of the KBR.

The agreement targets improving the safety of units, optimization of energy consumption, reduction of corrosion in the facility and renovation of units.

Signing of the agreement comes after years of sanctions and cutting off of technical and engineering communications with Iran.

It is hoped that the deal will lead to development of the activities at Pardis Petrochemical Company.

KBR is a global provider of differentiated professional services and technologies across the asset and program life cycle within the Hydrocarbons and Government Services Sectors.
