Croatia Testing Water for Oil Cooperation in Iran

TEHRAN (Shana) -- Croatia's Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Martina Dalić says she is visiting Tehran in order to explore grounds for cooperation in oil exploration.

She told Shana in an interview at the Iran Oil and Gas Show that she had a positive assessment of grounds for cooperation in oil projects between the two countries.

Dalic expressed hope for increased cooperation between Croatia's state-run oil and gas firm INA and the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).

She said throughout the oil show, panel discussions were expected to be held between Croatian and Iranian oil companies in exploration and development sectors.

Dalic said Croatia was willing to purchase oil from Iran.

She said that INA would be able to share its technological experience mainly in building underground facilities with Iranian companies.

INA is a buyer of Iran's crude oil.
