"By mobile processing of oil in the calendar year 96 (ended March 20), we managed to end oil burning, thereby protecting the environment from pollution," Houshang Seidali said at the Iran Oil and Gas Show on Monday.
He said GOGPC was the second largest producer among companies administered by the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC), adding: "This company produces 630,000 b/d of oil, 18,000 b/d of LNG and 10,000 b/d of naphtha."
He said that GOGPC had produced oil more than planned in the last calendar year.
Seidali said the company had purchased 3,200 items of commodities, valued at IRR 300 billion, from domestic manufacturing companies.
"Due to decrepit equipment we are facing challenges; however, we have tried our best to constantly monitor all sections including pipelines in a bid to identify the roots of problems and deal with them," he said.
