Dutch Companies Eye Million-Dollar Iran Deals

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The director of a Dutch advisory group says multi-million-dollar agreements are expected to be signed between companies from Iran and the Netherlands.

Pierre M.G. Bartholomeus, manager of PMG Advisory, told Shana at the Iran Oil and Gas Show that talks were under way between Iranian and Dutch companies for cooperation in oil and gas projects.

He said that a number of agreements had already been signed between the Iranian and Dutch companies, which he described as a step ahead.

In the current week, said Bartholomeus, a Dutch company was set to sign a partnership agreement with an Iranian firm.

He said Dutch companies should benefit from the current sanctions-free atmosphere to upgrade their ties with Iran.

Bartholomeus expressed hope that even in case the United States reimposes sanctions on Iran loopholes would be found for skirting around political challenges.
