Under the provisions of the next years budget bill, the NIOC is authorized to import the gasoline required by the country valued at 4 billion dollars at most. The purchase should be made through the crude sales earnings or the crude oil swap with the commodity however, the company should every month report the trends to the Economy Ministry. Also, based on the bill, the NIOC will have to improve the efficiency of the refineries across the country or as needed, renovate them to boost their outputs to hit 20 million liters per day or equal to about 2,550 million dollars. In addition, next years budget bill also calls for the building of three gas condensates refineries in the county. They are slated to have a total capacity of 360,000 barrels of the commodity.
