TEHRAN – Minister of Petroleum Kazem Vaziri Hamaneh will set off for New Delhi, India, on Tuesday, January 17, to follow up on bilateral negotiations about construction of the proposed gas pipeline which is to take Irans gas to India.

During the three-day trip, which will take place in response to an invitation by his Indian counterpart, Hamaneh will talk to Indian minister of petroleum, Mani Shankar Aiyar. The two sides will see into previous agreements and continue negotiations on new agreements. They will also determine date of a tripartite meeting which is to be held in Tehran. This is the first trip by Irans new minister of petroleum to India.
