Studies conducted indicate that the Caspian enjoys considerable oil reserves and raising sufficient fund and encouraging investment are a must for the country to exploit and tap into these reserves if the nation is to increase its oil production to over four million bpd next year. On the other hand, implementation of the plan in this respect calls for substantial allocation of technical and engineering capacity of domestic contractors which at the moment are working at full peak.
