TEHRAN - A member of Majlis' Presiding Board said here Monday that members of parliament unanimously insisted on the Iranian nation's inalienable right to access nuclear energy.

Mohsen Kouhkan made the remark while talking to reporters after an onofficial meeting with the Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani behind closed doors. "During the meeting, Larijani presented a complete and comprehensive report on talks and measures undertaken by the country's negotiating team. Five MPs also raised questions. "We believe the Iranian nation will never allow us to renounce our legal right to access peaceful nucear energy and surrender to the political will of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the UN Security Council. "There is a consensus among all Majlis deputies on the need to access peaceful nuclear energy," Larijani said. PIN/IRNA
