Elsewhere in his remarks, Torkan elaborated on the servicing contract for the phases 11 and 13, stating, that Total and Shell companies are the buyback contractors of these projects whose gas production are due to be turned into the export LNG (liquefied natural gas). In the down stream parts of the projects, the aforesaid international companies have signed cooperation contract with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), and in the upstream parts they will purchase the sour gas required for the LNG units from Pars Oil and Gas Company, he further said.
