Saeid Tavakoli said the company delivered 226 bcm of natural gas over the first 11 months of the previous Iranian calendar year which ended on March 20.
He said the company has planned to ramp up its gas distribution capacity to 1.160 bcm per day by 2025.
The official also added that Iran's gas export to Iraq is being carried out at roughly 14 mcm/d and an average of 8 to 9 mcm/d.
According to him, since the recipient of Iran's gas is Baghdad's power plant, the higher the temperature in the country, the higher the demand for Baghdad and the export of Iranian gas.
