Iranian Minister of Agricultural Jihad Mahmoud Hojjati and visiting Ukrainian vice Prime Minister Genadi Zobkov signed the document during the 5th Joint Economic Commission of Iran and Ukraine on Monday.
The commission was arranged in the presence of Ukrainian Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Vladimir Demchishin and 22 representatives of Ukrainian state and private companies.
On the sidelines of the commission, Demchishin voiced his country's willingness to transit Iranian gas to Europe.
"Close Iran-Ukraine ties have provided for good grounds for oil and gas recovery for the two countries," said the Ukrainian official.
He also said Kiev could help Iran build oil refineries and upgrade its distribution fleet.
